I wanted to chat about TERPENES with this newsletter .
Recently I have had some personal trauma over last few months and because of it all I found I was what it seemed like “Health Issues” these was chest pains and feeling lethargic, even though I have the best night sleep, I was waking up tired and all day just yawned , it got to a point after Jim my partner developed Ross River here at home I wondered if maybe I had same.
Anyway after multiple Blood tests , [seriously multiple ] and ECGs and Angiograms I turned out to be the most healthiest 60 year old around. Can only be the products I have used for almost 8 yrs. And the healthy foods.
Trauma can cause these issues, so I decided for my lethargic body, I would try the BOOST TERPENE.

What are terpenes?
Terpenes are substances that stimulate your body’s olfactory glands and excite your sense of smell, allowing your mind to make inferences about what your body finds pleasing naturally.
Terpenes are frequently recognized to stimulate various aspects of sensory awareness, and they may influence how you feel after inhaling or ingesting them.
These powerful chemicals are present in all plants, including those you eat for physical and mental nutrition. This includes entire meals, such as fruits and vegetables, and the natural medicines or essential oils you use.
You may widen your awareness of terpenes by simply contemplating how other plants and plant extracts make you feel, as well as how your palate may influence your reception of various plants, including cannabis.
Terpenes produced from cannabis are unique because many individuals are now employing them to help develop more personalized results.
How are terpenes different from cannabinoids?
Cannabinoids are a family of hemp and cannabis components that interact directly with cannabinoid receptors present in the human endocannabinoid system (ECS). The ECS is now recognized to have a role in the regulation of several activities and processes in the body, including:
The ECS is active in your body whether you are using cannabis. Cannabinoids control how cells interact or signals are transmitted, received, and processed.
Terpenes and cannabinoids improve blood flow, boost brain activity, and eliminate respiratory infections. Terpenes and cannabinoids work together to produce what is called the entourage effect. This effect outlines how various cannabinoids and terpenes mix and bind to multiple receptors in the brain to generate a distinct high.
Researchers have found that cannabinoid-terpene interactions may provide balance in the treatment of:
- Pain
- Inflammation
- Depression
- Anxiety
- Addiction
- Epilepsy
- Cancer
- Fungal
- Bacterial infections
Another identified advantage of cannabinoid-terpene interactions is that they enhance positive cannabis effects and reduce THC-induced anxiety.

Humans and Cannabis: a brief history.
Versatile and hardy, hemp has been a staple crop for many thousands of years of human history, beginning around 8,000 BCE in Central Asia. Its proliferation and spread since that time certainly makes us wonder: Did humans and cannabis co-evolve? The plant species surely evolved as we propagated it, spreading it across the world, did it shape our evolution as well?
10,000 YEARS OF HUMANS AND HEMP
Cannabis played a clear role in our success in transitioning from nomadic hunter-gatherer tribal communities to larger agrarian civilizations, spreading throughout Asia to Europe, and then westward to the Americas.
Over the 10,000 years of modern human history, it’s grown alongside us, providing a range of uses: as a food source (for us as well as our livestock), as a textile fiber (rope, paper, fabric for everything from clothing to nautical sails), and of course its ritual and recreational role through the psychoactive properties found in THC-rich cannabis strains.
HEMP USE #384 CAR MANUFACTURERS MAKE A VARIETY OF AUTO PARTS USING HEMP-BASED COMPOSITE MATERIALS
Whether due to environmental factors or through human cultivation, the cannabis family split and evolved as several different species, with different strains within them. For example, what we consider today to be industrial hemp (less than 0.3% THC per the 2018 Farm Bill) is a strain of cannabis sativa, a species that also includes THC-rich strains.
HEMP’S DISAPPEARANCE
Then, in the early 20th century in the United States, the government found a totally new use for cannabis: as an immigration-management tool.
Misinformation about cannabis spread, fueling the unfounded belief that its psychoactive properties (primarily found in THC-rich varieties) made people violent and dangerous.
Beginning in 1916, states began to outlaw the plant, culminating in a national ban of it through the Marihuana Tax Act in 1937, which made no distinction between hemp (then a staple crop of the Americas — Jefferson even drafted the Declaration of Independence on hemp paper!) and its THC-rich varieties.
Between 1937 and 2018, cannabis of all varieties disappeared from the American diet (not even our livestock were eating it!) and general environment. We’ve only recently begun to learn what we’ve been missing, and can only theorize about the implications of its absence on our overall health and wellness.
WHAT WE’VE BEEN MISSING: REINTRODUCING CANNABIS TO OUR DIETS
So, back to the question: Is it possible our physiology coevolved with the plant over time? Absolutely.
Do we know how it helps us, or the impact of its absence from our diet? Not exactly. But we’re starting to figure it out. So many people are now once again experiencing better health less pharmaceuticals { with Drs Approval } .. which honestly can cause more health issues in so many ways.
So I say WHY NOT try something that has been around for 1000’s of years and was used for medications way back then ….
